Description

Description

This plywood house has been designed with a wide entrance hole so squirrels can take their young into the house easily and safely. The platform around the middle of the house allows easier access for squirrels, especially juveniles who will use this to help them come and go from the house with ease.

Siting

Place the house at least 4 meters high in a tree in a quiet area, preferably in a forest, park or garden. If possible it should not face the south/west due to rain and wind being able to get into the box. First, the suspension lath must be mounted on the back of the house using the supplied bolts and wing nuts. The house can then be attached to the tree. Nesting material can be added, we suggest using hay or dry grass.

Maintenance

Check the house annually to ensure the fixing points are secure and stable.
